How can you make more environmentally friendly choices in your daily routine?
The Bodies of Water Learning Resource is an educational tool for children aged 7–11 (Key Stage 2), inspired by the themes of Anne Duk Hee Jordan's artworks and characters. With content devised by multimedia artist and arts educator, Anna FC Smith, it includes creative activities to explore water collection, preservation, and distribution. Aimed at building awareness of water's environmental importance, the resource promotes sustainable water management through engaging, hands-on learning. Ideal for Key Stage 2, it also supports educators with informative content and encourages artistic exploration, helping children understand the vital role of water in our daily lives.
Bodies of Water is commissioned and curated by UP Projects working in partnership with National Trust and Wigan Council. It is generously funded by Arts Council England, Art Fund and Vallum Associates, and supported by Goethe-Institut with engineering support from Civic Engineers. Rain Chains donated by Rain Chains Direct.
UP Projects is the UK's leading public art organisation specialising in socially engaged public art commissioning. It brings world class artists out of the gallery and into public spaces to create new work with communities across the UK and beyond. Its work is always responsive to context, often activating unexpected corners of the public realm.
