Anti-clockwise – (sound-work) 2007.

The sound of water turning down a plug-hole.

Duration of audio recording 7 minutes.  To be played as a repetitive loop for duration of work.

Set-up: Minimac, running logic express, 8 channel fire wire sound box, 8 speakers, cables.

The speakers are set up around a centrally located area.  This would preferably be in a room below ground-level.
The recorded audio travels around the room via the speakers, at a similar speed to the water turning, as it goes down the plug-hole.

The work plays with the ideas of location and place, via the disorientating sound-work, employing the commonly believed myth of water turning in
different directions depending on which side of the equator you are on.
