The manifesto takes the well-known song by Shaggy: "Boombastic",
and sends up the rhetoric that you might find in say the
Vorticists first publication: BLAST, (a favourite artists book of
mine).The lyrics lend themselves very
well to the text display to be found in the early pages of BLAST, where the artists
are outlaying their Vorticist manifesto, and touches on the way we consider the
last centuries many avant-gardes in terms of their bombastic failure.
