Manifesto. A. Clarke. (text work, 2011).
The manifesto takes the well-known song by Shaggy: "Boombastic", and sends up the rhetoric that you might find in say the Vorticists first publication: BLAST, (a favourite artists book of mine). The lyrics lend themselves very well to the text display to be found in the early pages of BLAST, where the artists are outlaying their Vorticist manifesto, and touches on the way we consider the last centuries many avant-gardes in terms of their bombastic failure.
